Before any group coaching session begins, a session with the instigator is conducted to make sure we deliver what the client needs and that matches what they think they need. Coaching sessions should always result in actions and progress, a measurable improvement, an increase in performance. In order to maximise the impact, a session needs to be mapped out specifically to match the company, group and the reason for the session.
My group coaching sessions are incredibly interactive, the coaches have as much input as possible. Breaking into smaller groups for various tasks, coming back together for discussions, moving around the room, active in participation, full of life and energy. There is no hiding place, we use everyone’s strengths and building on people’s weaknesses. The engagement level is optimal, and the coaches leave the sessions full of enthusiasm and passion to put into practice the new skills and ideas. Everyone should take away a minimum of three learning points and three action points. There will be a follow up to check on progress and success stories. This can be done remotely, or for more impact bringing everyone back together again.
